I guess he doesn't have any family members in his house... And if he does he must not think much of them.

There are only 3 things in my house worth killing over. My life, my wife, and my son. I'm not going to hesitate to see if the perp means to take any of those 3 things! By that time, it might be too late!

Basically the grandfather said it was his grandson and he did not have anything in his house worth killing for. He being the grandfather.

Anyone in my house in the middle of the night wearing a mask would meet the same end.

Prayers up for all involved. As for the grandfather's comment, I will say I don't have anything in my house anybody needs to break into and get killed over! If it's not your house stay out!

The home owner did the right thing. If he had hesitated, he might be the one that had lost his life.

So by the grandfathers logic are we supposed to asked unknown masked men in our homes, Hello what are you here for? If you're in my home uninvited wearing a mask in the middle of the night, I'm going to assume you are a threat and act accordingly

I personally dont see a too much of a problem with what the grandfather posted other than Two things wrong with the grandfather's statement.

                          1. There was no way to know the intent of the criminal at that time

                          2. There was no way to know that he was 16 and a "kid".

That being said, the grandfather didn't condemn the home owner and asked for prayers for him. I'm sure he is grieving and wanted to comment.

At least he didn't come on there condemning the home owner and asking for him to be thrown in jail and talking about his "innocent" grandson who was shot by a gun happy crazy dude!

By the Grandfather's logic, he is the Grandfather.

Thoughts and prayers to ALL involved.

I feel bad for the family of the kid that was shot. But you nailed it.
