Yep. They got one out of four right. Funny how you Ford boys always reach past the 6.no and the 6.4 failures to look good. Did you ever own any of those failures? Yeah I didn't think so. I did so I do have a valid argument...

Show me where the diesel engines failed? I believe the world learned some recall lessons when Ford cost the world tens of millions with their failures and the lack of buybacks and warranties. They are still piecing together the turbo and engine failures on their pre 2015 6.7 diesel motors and turbos. Want to buy two of them? Call our office and I will make you a deal.

A friend of mine owns a Ford dealership in S.Texas and he will tell you that Ford made him ashamed to sell a 6.0 or a 6.4 to his customers because of all their problems. It is undeniable..

      1) 97, 7.3 was in the shop to replace front hubs once, and once to replace window controls. Had this truck for 8 years only traded it off because I wanted a new one.

      2) 05, 6.0 was in the shop for a front end alignment. Had that one for 10 years and just got rid of it in April. Only traded it off because I wanted a new one.

I really don't think there's enough difference in any of the three to pick one over the other.

Yes sir you should consider yourself lucky with that 6.no. The 7.3 is the only unilaterally solid diesel Ford has ever made. Even the Ford dealers will tell
      you that.

I LOVE DIESEL. I can afford to repair but should i have to if i have done everything right. bought extra warranty. did all my fluid changes. yet for is just looking for reason not to pay for there warranty. love my truck but way for is handling is horrible. service rep was telling me "that filter looks old" then i found receipt and oh you need a 4th. come on.
Not judging you. I LOVE or loved DIESEL 2, I'm just saying things are not like they used to be in the world of diesel trucks. The stuff that is breaking these days did not even exist when we fell in love with them. They used to run on anything but water, now the fuel systems crash from a micron of rust.

I'm trying to say you almost have to be using them for business to justify the new expenses that can happen and all the manufacturers are being tight fisted on diesel fuel repairs. They look hard at our warranty claims and documentation. I have a full time employee that has to spend 40 hours a week trying to get them paid. It's a constant battle to try to keep our customers from having to pay for stuff that we think should be covered.

Just the thoughts of someone who spends almost everyday in the Ford, Chevy, Dodge Truck trenches

Look at all the videos about the new Ford motors. The issues are popping up as they do with other companies...

That is 12 years ago. Long time to go with engines that have been nothing but trouble. Dodge used the 5.9 engine for how many years?

I drove various models until they went to the 24 valve and it was a piece of crap.. '89 to '98 the 5.9 was a great motor.. the front end on the trucks wasn't worth a crap neither... but Dodge has been famous for nearly my whole life for front end problems on their cars and trucks..

This have them say it was bad fuel, if they will not be warrant it!

Hopefully it'll all get worked out under warranty. We can only blame all this government emission crap for the decline of the diesel motor. It's a shame.

I have a dodge with 28k miles on it and a leaking seal on the front axle. Nice oil spot everywhere it parks.

In your reading I think you missed the point where I am part owner in pretty much every every form of diesel pickup made including the Fords.

My belief unlike some is not that Ford is the end all to diesel power and really has not been for a very long time .
