Where I am there is no city code to follow an we make due, and do well. I will stop attempting to help!
I apologize, I did not mean to sound like quite that big of jerk in my post. You were just trying to help. I'm glad what you have done in the past has worked without any ill effect but under normal circumstances you can't just change the breaker to a larger size to allow a larger load. Like said above the breaker is to protect the wire, the wire in his house is only good for a 20 amp breaker if he was to put in a 30 amp breaker it would not trip before the wire over heated and could possible cause a fire.

I had one added to my power pole at my property and it only cost about $100. You can save some money by running the wire from the box to where you want it and then pay an electrician to hook it.

It really isn't difficult as long as you use the right sized wire for the load and run and the correct parts. Then follow the correct wiring sequence for the service. Just remember RV's aren't wired like a house..

If you are going to install the plug out doors right on the breaker box then it should be fairly simple and the parts are around $50. I have some 10 ga. wire if you need it Leland.

Thank Bob. I'll let you know but for those posting about how to do it, dont worry I'm not doing it. I dont play with electricity or hooking up anything to the breaker box.

Sounds like this should be a simple/easy fairly cheap thing for someone who knows what they are doing.
