LOL! why not. That's all the electrician is gonna do.
If he does he isn't a good electrician. It's against code as well.
The breakers main function is to protect the wire. 12 gauge wire is good for 20 amps. Putting a 30 amp breaker on wire that is only good for 20 amps could cause a fire.
That's all that has to be done if he's going to used the existing outlet on the house. If he running a outlet box to the camper then he will have some wire to run. I ran into the same issued when I bought my first camper several years ago. Im savy with wiring though. Just replace the 20a for a 30a. When I needed an extension cord I went to the depot and bought a really heavy gauge wire and attached camper plug ends on it I got off amazon. He can build the cord himself really easy. The cost of the breaker and someone to put it in will be minimal.
BigL plan on spending 200 to 300 dollars to have an electrician do it. If your not familiar with electrical panels......stay out. Hire a licensed electrician.

Then every outlet on the circuit with that exterior outlet is protected by a 30a breaker
Plug your trailer in run the fridge and Ac
Run a chop saw or vacuum or anything on that same circuit at the same time and your insulation will start degrading.
The #12 wire will get hot and expand, when it cools it'll contract, do this several times and you have a loose connection possibly creating an arc. All the while the 30 amp breaker keeps trucking because it hasn't shorted or been over loaded.

If you're gonna pay someone I'd put in a 50a plug then use a 30a dog bone... that way when you trade up to a bigger trailer you're already there.. The extra cost would be negligible if your house is already wired 220/240a..
Oh man this thread has me rolling.....lots of very bad and dangerous tips. If you don't really know what your doing DO NOT take advise from guys that are " VERY SAVY AT WIRING" lol you WILL regret it. And might even need a new house if it does not survive the fire. Call an electrician and if all he does is replace a breaker don't pay him and call someone else.

Well may have been an off choice of words, but I have never burned down anything with the wringing I've done an I've done quiet a bit. It's not as hard as most think. I've been on a farm my whole life where we have to do things ourselves without much help. It's just the way I was taught and it works. Where I am there is no city code to follow an we make due, and do well. I will stop attempting to help!

You really need to stop giving electrical advise.
For starters, a 30A breaker requires #10 wire. Secondly the existing receptacle isn't rated for 30 amps, most likely 15amps.
Only specific receptacles in a house will have 20A breakers and #12 wire. Most will be 15A ckts with #14 wire.
