It sounds like a good idea! But will they not still get you from the waste up? Last spring I had to walk through some high grass to work on a piece of equipment so I sprayed OFF from my waste down. Once I got to the equipment I had to sit down to work on it and the chiggers ate me alive from the waste up, I had 30+ bites above my waist and none below.
