Yes but not sure why you would need to.

I don't shoot moving targets. If that was the case why not shoot them as the jump over the feedpen fence.
I agree, being able to think and keep your emotions in check keeps the dogs away. I have a lot of nice deer on the wall and this one would go on mine too . . . . just not in this picture.

Candidly, I'm betting he gave me my shot just before this picture. I've found most deer come to a fence, stop, look . . . .then start moving once their feeling comfortable. Arrow would have been in him by this picture.

Im with Jason on this one...I have seen that knuckle stop arrows, and it is right where I would aim. That considered with the fact that he would be moving, I would probably wait for a better opportunity once he passes the fence.

There is no way he is moving in slow motion while going under a fence. I'd prefer a standing still shot over a walking shot anways, and then you add vertical movement of him going under a fence into the equation? No thanks. I'll wait for him to go 5 yards on the other side and smoke him.

He is in motion and his body is gonna change levels....probably not. Gonna wait and see what he does once he gets across the fence.

no problem making the shot, the problem lies with the fence,,, if both sides are mine to hunt, shot taken, if the other side is someone else's i would have to pass, legalities / technicalities can be an issues, like tresspassing by projectile, plus there is zero chance of recovering him from my side without tresspassing...

yes to the shot angle, no to the location under certain conditions

Here are the two photos taken before and after the original shot.

Original photo is in the middle.

I would shoot, I don't believe he is moving very fast at all. Better than a walking shot imo.

i aint gonna lie, without being there i don't know how fast he's moving but picture number one and I'd bet a few seconds before that are much more tempting to me then the original.

Mature bucks are slow to go under fences. It's almost awkward how they move. Like an old man bending over, they don't want to bend their arthritic knees. They just straight leg it and take the skinned back.
