Hudsons does a great job but I have encountered the rude factor at the front desk and the meat area. Also, taking an Axis there in the spring brings the rude factor up some more but they still do a good job. How are the prices and the job done at Ray's in Wimberley? I live right by there.

Its pretty slick and nukes those flies like a champ.

I would doubt that the sausage you get is from your deer only.
They process hundreds of deer, from a practical standpoint it would be tough to mix every single batch separately, no matter what they tell you.
Thats just my opinion, really I have no idea.

And that crabby old lady is mean as a snake.

But they are my processor still.
The fajita meat and jerky are outstanding.
That crabby old lady is my aunt...and you are right, unless you are one of her sons, you might as well be mud. Hudson's is now under new ownership and my crabby aunt is no longer there.

They do well in excess of 3500 deer per season. If you do the math on time it takes to process, you will quickly see that you do not get your deer back.

Also, they have a USDA inspector on sight. I doubt you will find them spraying Raid on anything in there.

I took one deer to them last year and he will be getting more of mine. Super nice guy and great prices. The sausage is good. No the best, but good.

          I hope you're right.

(And I guess it could have been something other than Raid, in the can that said RAID on the side of it.)
