Well, blood has been spilt. Broadside 30 yards...
Ldps to follow when we locate him. Wish me luck. I felt it was a little high, be we will see. Guide thought shot was good.

High does not sound good. I have seen many lost like that. I hope you find him. Good luck to you!!!

No Ldps tonight. We found the arrow. Had 10 inches of blood on it. So we are backing out and gonna bring a dog in the morning. I'm gonna go hunt in stonewall in the morning fir a BB, then look for the axis around 10am. I'll be in a pop up, so a live hunt should be easier than in a tripod like today. Thanks for following and hopefully I'll have some Ldps of 2 animals tomorrow.
Makes me sick to my stomach that we didn't find him, but the guide is probably right in us backing out until morning. First time that I've not found what I shot.
