He's had her doing a bunch of stuff way above her pay grade with his supervision of course.

As for her first RN job she's had several offers already. Her having his letter of recommendation is a bonus. As of right now she's thinking med surg then ER or Or. With her having that many years dealing with different hospitals she has good people in right places. BUT first thing is her concentrating on her boards exam.

Congrats to you on your career accomplishment.

Ray.. skip the medsurg if she has plans for OR or ER. They have nothing in common and medsurg will just slow her down to getting to her goals. OR is a GREAT place to be at. With a little experience, some places up here in Dallas are pay $45-50/hr. OR is a specialty that is hard to come by and most places continually need OR nurses. With starting pay around $25/hr, jumping to a top end pay as soon as possible will really put you guys ahead. OR has that opportunity, not many other areas do. OR and float pool positions.

Congrats to both of you. Nurses truly are special people and I know how important they are. Sounds like she will do a fantastic job. Good luck on the boards!
