Congrats...now the real learning begins. Good luck to her passing NCLEX and getting her first job. I have been a nurse for a few years now and Id really recommend trying to get into ICU if she likes critical care. That opens the most doors. You can teach an ICU nurse how to work in the ER or on the floor. Doesnt work as well the other way around.

Thanks for the info bud. She's no stranger to some patient care. She's worked as an assistant for a surgeon for 10 years. Of course its a lot different in a hospital but the doc has taught her a lot due to him being a on call trauma surgeon also. He's had her doing a bunch of stuff way above her pay grade with his supervision of course.
As for her first RN job she's had several offers already. Her having his letter of recommendation is a bonus. As of right now she's thinking med surg then ER or Or. With her having that many years dealing with different hospitals she has good people in right places. BUT first thing is her concentrating on her boards exam.
Congrats to you on your career accomplishment.
