After almost 6 years of part time and full time schooling my wife graduated today with her BSN. I can finally say my wife is a registered nurse!!! (Well she still has her board exam but I just couldn't take it any longer) Ive been waiting for this day for a long time. I still remember the day she told me she wanted to go back to school. All I could think of was "thats gonna be hard on us in so many ways". Then when she started school part time all I could think of was "she will never finish at this pace". Problem is I needed her to keep working to help us out financially. About 2.5 years into it she said I really need to start full time or i'll never finish. I agreed and the plan was made. I will say this, with the hobbies we like doing it was very tough at times and still is sometimes. I found myself figuring out problems that we didn't have before. I wont go into detail but it was indeed a sacrifice.
Well semester after exam after semester after exam the day came when she took her exit exam. Wow!! I was shocked that after almost 6 years we were ordering graduation invitations, cap, gowns etc.
Yesterday we attended her pinning ceremony at the college campus. Again wow!! The time has finally come. Here is me and the family with her at the ceremony.

Today it was graduation time!! I woke up this morning and told her its finally here with a cracked voice. We laid in bed talking about all the hard times and how we managed and how we turned lemons into lemonade.
My wife walked that stage like a champ!!! She was in cloud nine throughout the whole ceremony and Im glad she soaked it all up.
Here she is receiving her award from the college president.

Walking the stage proud as heck!!!

With her diploma.

The wind was terrible once outside but this pic turned out cool.

As you can tell I'm happier than she is.
Ive been waiting for this day for a long time. Lol

I couldn't be prouder of my wife. While being a great student she was also a great mother of 3 daughters, a wonderful wife and a good worker when she had to. At the age of 33 her goal of being a RN is just one exam away. Thanks to the lord.
Our family pic on graduation day.

Thank you to all my TBH friends and fishing trip customers. You guys helped in more than one way along the way and I really appreciate it.
