I laughed when the Mom and pop shop told me $39 for ER! Goody Goody still has it for $27 so if I see it there I grab it. Otherwise Elijah Craig (Heaven Hill) gets my money for the best bottle around $25

Blantons is crazy these days. We used to buy it because it’s good and had a cool bottle, was a nice bottle at $50. I paid $70 for a store pick but it’s not that good to me. I do like to grab them as trade bait sometimes though! I mean EC Barrel proof is $65!

It’s getting to where I can afford good Irish or Scotch Whisk(e)y more than I can Bourbon. Even EH Taylor small batch went from around $30 to $50+ lately at stores up here

So my guys at work know im a bourbon fan, this year I got a bottle of Jeffersons Reserve, it was very good, also have Angels Envy cask strength, still haven't tried it, the one I'm most curious about is Bookers, anyone have a take on it, hard for me to put down the Weller 12 and give these others a try.

Yellow Rose Outlaw. Not a fan at all.
Angles Envy Cask Strength. Stellar!!!

Bookers is amazing if you can find it. It is scarce around the places I go. Drink it with just a splash of water the way Booker did.

Bookers is real tasty

Keeping it simple tonight. Had a couple glasses of pinot with dinner so just a dram of Balvenie double wood for dessert. Their Caribbean cask is my favorite of theirs (that I've had) but this is a great pour

Not Texas but I have bought a couple bottle so Clyde May's.......It was recommended and I like it.
