My dad had this dream, therefore I will inherit at least 1/3 of it & my other 2 siblings could care less, so at some point I will likely buy them out.
We have 320 ac in Coleman county.
In my dad's retirement, he never enjoys it. Always has something he's "got to do", a project of some sort. It's his nature, if he sat still he'd die. He's busier in retirement then he was working full time in at middle age!

I am very undecided about where my wife and I will retire. I would like to have a little place in Comanche or Livingston area. I know two totally different parts of Texas. It really depends on where our kids are at.
We will have to make a decision soon as to where we will live for our kids highschool years. We have been in Krum for 11 years. We love the area because it is still a small town but close enough to Fort Worth and Dallas to be there in less than an hour.

Im a Looooong way from retirement. (26 years young) However, it isn't to early to start working towards my goal. My wife and I already live on 50 acres out in the sticks. Property and the house are already paid off. Only debt I own is my truck note. But it wont last long. Will be putting my son through College before I know it. My plan is to keep stashing whatever cash I can away and when the truck is paid off, we will start to look for another 50-100 acres.

Why would I retire? My wife would work me 10X harder at home making stuff she finds on Pinterest than I'll ever work at the office.
