      That's for sure! I do 99% of my own work. But, stuff I cannot do I have better luck dealing with independant shops rather than dealerships.

        Are pulling a trailer or other implements ?

        Never heard of belts going out like that before.

          I am almost sure he is getting water in the housing....It happened to me once after I trailered mine from ranch in rain.....if you do not drain the housing it will destroy it

            Thank you so much for this post blntrey! I opened that drain plug and water came pouring out. Pulled the belt cover off to let it dry out and hopefully that fixes it.
            BTW with the history I have had with dealerships (actually just happened again on a oil change for my truck), any how they probably hit you with a bill and just drained the thing and didnt put a new one on. I have had my ranger 2 yrs belt slipped that one time and I drained it and it worked fine. I immediately. snorkeled it

              A year and four months and 424 hours and no problem with my 2014 model. I seldom use low gear.

                I changed my belt yesterday. $40 and about 30 minutes

                  I have the original belt on my 2010 crew and not a single issue and I seldom ever run it in low.
