If your friend makes the trip often, and he's the one driving, I say you'll be fine. The border towns are the most dangerous. If you travel in the daylight and know where you're going it's a snap. The language barrier scares me more than anything. Being able to communicate is very important. The Federales are intimidating but cooperation and communication makes it easy on them and you..... just like here.

Hunters go back and forth everyday with no problems. The ones that get themselves into a bad situation more than likely ended up somewhere they shouldn't have been. Go straight to the ranch, have a hunt of lifetime, then straight back and tell us about it. Good Luck!!!

Well the price of the hunt is free, here is one of the bucks shot at the ranch. I'd be happy with something even close to this.

I wouldn't go over there for anything, That's just me though. Nothing would probably happen, but if it does it could get deep. You have to make the choice.

Soon as you cross that border, you lose all your rights you have in the states. I always think about whenever something like this comes up

Because life is to short to run scared.......
Life's too short to have your head cut off and impaled on a gate too.

Juarez is bad news these days; just do some research.

I have bowhunted in that area for Coues deer 6 years ago with an archery buddy from Jurez . I would not go now. The ranch was getting poached by locals while owner was away. Didn' t see a buck, where there were several in preceding years. Mulies there are about like west texas , decent, but nothing like the monsters near Hermosillo, who have a much higher protien diet , and better genetics.
