Maybe I am just reading too much into it. This guy is the oddball of the group and there are plenty of examples to prove that. My wife was pretty ticked though. The main reason for the LDPs back at camp was so she could get a pic of her and I with the axis since she was with me when I shot it. The dude couldn't even wait until after that either!

Reminds me of a few years back. I was on the Clinch river in Tennessee one Sunday morning fishing with my ultralight spinning gear. I caught a really nice brown trout. When I started home I stopped by the tackle shop to have it weighed. It weighed 7 lbs 5 oz. As I was leaving the shop an elderly gentleman stopped me and asked if I minded if he took his picture with my fish. He was from out of state and wanted to send the pictures to his kids back in Chicago. I handed him the fish and the ultralight rod out of the truck for him to hold also. He stood there with a great big grin while his wife snapped some pictures. He thanked me and said it was going to be a good joke on his kids. I knew who had caught the fish and enjoyed the pleasure he had in having his picture taken with that fish.

I'd say that's just weird.
It's one thing to take a snap shot of a kill and text it to a friend stating a buddy or lease member shot this, etc, etc. But to pose in front of someone elses deer claiming it as your own is just wrong.
Oh well, some people are just like that. Everyone knows one of them. They have to one-up everything or be the center of attention. Whether it be fibbing about an achievement or about a personal issue or whatever. Half the time, their stories are discovered to be complete BS, but nobody calls them out on it as it's well known anyways.
