Sounds like something I would do. I like to joke around and give friends and family members the run around sometimes. Maybe he was giving some folks the run around for a couple of days and then told them later he didn't really kill it? Im sure some of you have done the same at least once.
Then again, if he was dead serious about pretending it was his and truly claiming it to other people, that's a different story. Not really anything worth getting butt hurt over though.
Tried to pose with chews elephant a while back...had a cool spear I made out of PVC and a garden spade and a loin cloth made from shorty-shorts.... but chew wouldn't share at all...
I can do better. This isn't my deer or my bow. I did have a lot of fun screwing with a friend for about 3 years telling him that I killed this deer out of his blind though.
So this past weekend was the final weekend for hunting on our lease and I took a pretty good axis on the last evening hunt. We have seen a ton of axis on our lease but very seldom do we see them at our feeders. This is the first axis buck taken off our lease in two years. I take some ldps out in the field, and decided to take a few more after getting him back to camp. One of our lease members gets back to camp and is pretty excited about my kill and asks if he can take a pic with him. I agree, even though i thought it was a little different. That's when he grabs his bow and throws it on my axis and gets ldps taken with my buck! Not only that but then he starts texting the pics to family members. My question to the green screen: is this normal? What the heck would you have done?
Next time offer him a pic of you with your deer, to him.

He should of been happy you killed such a ****ty cull off his feed bill
I have been asked "Do you mind if I take a picture of your buck", and I have also asked that question. Usually I just want a picture of the deer for more hunting BSing and conversation, sometimes, Ill ask if they(the shooter) will get in the picture as well. In no way would I pose with somebody else's kill and pretend like I shot it. That just seems dumb unless it is for a funny prank like above
