So this past weekend was the final weekend for hunting on our lease and I took a pretty good axis on the last evening hunt. We have seen a ton of axis on our lease but very seldom do we see them at our feeders. This is the first axis buck taken off our lease in two years. I take some ldps out in the field, and decided to take a few more after getting him back to camp. One of our lease members gets back to camp and is pretty excited about my kill and asks if he can take a pic with him. I agree, even though i thought it was a little different. That's when he grabs his bow and throws it on my axis and gets ldps taken with my buck! Not only that but then he starts texting the pics to family members. My question to the green screen: is this normal? What the heck would you have done?
