A few property deals that I was too chicken to gamble on

One that stings the most was a Yenko camaro for $2500. Only thing wrong with it was it needed a set of tires and wheels as they had been stolen off of it for the second time.
That was back in the late 80's and I think I will get up and go puke now since I am reminded of it
$2500 for a Yenko? I know you wish you could have that one back!

We should have all done this. There were several ranches in our area that were cut up into 20-25 acre tracks and sold off. Guy bought for $500-600 and acre and sold for $1400-2000 several years ago.

How can they put 8 wells on 63 acres?

SxS Browning BSS 20 ga in a pawn shop in Del Rio. I could have had it for 600. I passed and haven't stopped thinking about it since.

Well,,,,,,the last one was a Ruger No 1 375HH for $500. Less than a box had been shot through it.
I did not buy it because I knew I would have to go to Africa to shoot a cape buffalo or something with it.

I play the drums. I always wanted a Yamaha Steve Jordan Snare. I almost paid 400 for one once which I thought was a deal since I knew they went for 800 at one point. I saw one later in a Pawn Shop for 60 bucks !!!!!!!!!!! I put it down and tried to hold back my excitment. Someone took the badges off it but I knew what I was looking at. I put it down and planned to return in an hour with the cash. Came back and it was sold. Look on EBAY and see what they go for. My day was messed up.

Shelby Mustang - bought the Porsche instead. When I sold the Porsche that Shelby would have bought a couple ( or more) of those German sports cars.

                      In 1982 I passed on a white 72 torino with a 429SCJ for $800.00 because I wanted a truck.

My papa told me to buy as much lake front property I could afford on lake fork back in the day... That's was just a fad.

My mother's uncle in Waco was the original owner of his '57 Nomad. Offered it to me for $100. Drove down the next weekend with cash and a trailer. He had sold it to someone else for $50. Only time in my life I wanted to punch a 94yr old.
