I see Thunderheads everywhere, they are readily available. I used them once with a decent 7 I took in west Texas. I may get a few more....

Awesome job Steve! That Thunderhead looks like it had enough momentum to pass through another deer!

          Cool pic!

Don't know of any blades that the hill country rocks aren't hard on.

          Great shot and pics Steve.

I got two hogs that way once. Unintentional, but had two good blood trails leaving the area.

That is awesome! I think that would be hard to swing with a big expandable.

Nice shootin' Tex! Last morning of a 3 day hunt is a bad time to show if your a doe.

I still use them. Not as much as I used to as I prefer COC heads now. But they are lethal.

Sweet review of an old standard. I'll never shoot more animals with any other head as I have a Thunderhead.

She never knew what hit her.

                            Thunderheads and Muzzys!

Hard to beat good old school gear.

Do y'all use the O Ring that comes with them? I had a friend that said he couldn't get them to spin straight if he used the O Ring. I've always wanted to try them but didn't because of what he told me.

I did that with a thunderhead also! It was only about 15 yds but shot right through one, spined the second and dropped it.

Thunderhead 125 is still my go to on any size big game. I've shot others but I'll never change again as long as my setups keep slingin 'em straight.

Tried and true! I'll still shoot deer with a 30-30 too
