Not my experience or the experience of anyone I've ever hunted/fished with.. Must have super powers! But if you don't have to buy a yeti-like cooler, more power to you.

Just don't think that's the case for 99.9% of old fashioned coolers.

IMO it is better to just buy what works well for you. No need in getting into a debate about a daggum cooler. Just my .02.

None of them are magicians at holding ice. They are a little better than the cheaper coolers but not enough to justify the cost.

I bought one for the strength and only the strength. The slightly better ice retention is a side affect.

I have the igloo sportsman and have been impressed so far. It blows away the older model igloos that I have used in the past. I think it was $200 bucks well spent.

I just don't see how your post added value to the thread.. You don't know the intended purpose of any purchaser.

Maybe you should reread the thread. The op was only saying they look alike,that's it. Your post here adds 0 value to this thread as others I have seen you post.
