Help me! What am I looking at?

Can't believe someone would shoot a collared deer. Is it illegal no, but it obviously eats out of someone's hand and hangs around their house. All the deer in the woods and you choose to shoot this one.

Well guys this^^^ was the text I received from the local Game Warden after I sent him pics of the Buck.

i still think he is 13" at wide from the tip of his broke beam to the inside of his good beam which would make him legal. I would dust him first chance with zero doubt

Both are fair game. The idea that someone put a collar on a deer that's in the wild is just goofy.

I think the buck is broken off with a small brow tine that is hidden by the ear. JMO
