I carry a bond arms deringer with the first barrel with a 410 buckshot. The second barrel has a 45 long colt in it. I carry two extra rounds of the long colt.

My 1911 .45 stays on my hip when I'm at the lease.

I like the spray a semi auto can provide if needed.
That's why I was leaning to the pistol....

That is the best advice. I carry my xd9 subcompact but it is my main carry gun.

Exactly! I always carry my Glock 30 w/ 200 gr Barns coppers,& a CT laser. A semi-auto might give me a semi chance of hitting more than one piggy.

G20 10mm when on public land. Otherwise, a 1911 or large frame revolver gets toted whenever I feel like carrying something different.

                          Pistol would be my choice.

OK. Maybe we can cut ya a little slack. But just a little.

I like revolvers for the power and accuracy. If it were going to be an auto, I'd have to say it'd be a Wildey .44 Auto Mag, or a Desert Eagle.

But I've been know to carry my single shot Contender with a 10" barrel for the most part, in .45LC . But their custom loads I've worked up and would blow a Colt apart in a heartbeat. They'll will lay a hog down with out a prob if I do my part on the first shot, cause a second shot is not a probability .

Why not just get a semi-auto revolver? They only cost $3000 for a mateba

or twice that for a fosbery (coolest handgun ever)

Why would you choose a pistol when you could carry a handgun?
