Winchester Model 92 lever action saddle gun. 38-40. My granddad traded a milk cow for it and a box of shells. Killed my first deer with it when I was 6 yrs old and granddad left me the gun when he passed away a couple of years later. Killed a lot of deer with it. No telling what it is worth now.

Grandpa's Remington 30-06... Still have and will forever have it until I'm gone. I plan on my wife giving it to my grandson just as my grandmother gave it to me.
My grandfather died when I was 1 year old (I'm 46 now) on the land we still hunt this day. He left a 12 gauge pump and a 30-06 for my cousin and I. (His only two grandsons)
It was never any discussion, my cousin wanted the pump, cause it slid back and forth.... And I wanted the rifle cause it had a neat "thing" on top of it to look through.
She made us wait until our 10 birthday (15 days apart) and then gave them to us. We both hunted them two guns up until our 20's and have since retired them to the gun safe.
Sorry for the long read... Just proud of my first one.

Remington 870 wingmaster. I was 16, saved all summer to have it for duck season. Me and my hunting buddy drove all the way into a gun store off I10 in Houston. I walked in know exactly what I wanted. Guy got the gun and started filling out the paper work and got to my age. Talk about a let down. He looked at my buddy "how old are you?" 17 " well if y'all were to walk out side and you come back in and buy this shotgun and then walk out and sell it to you buddy, perfectly legal". Haha that was 30 yrs ago and she's still a duck killing machine
