Browning A bolt 280. Wood stock with the Boss on the end. I will cherish that gun till my last day.Comment

Single shot HR 20 g. I got good at follow up shots on quail at a young age. Then a Sears 30 30 when I was 10. I just got rid of the 30 30 a couple of years ago and I wish I hadn't.Comment

Winchester model 70 .243 as a birthday present from my uncle. Got it when I was 12. Shot my first deer that same year(8 pointer) with that gun. Wish I still had it, that was a great little gun.Comment

Single shot Winchester 20 gauge I got on my 12th Christmas in 1968. When quail hunting with my Dad at that age, the "Barney Fife Rule" was in effect. I would carry one shell in my shirt pocket with the action open. When the dogs went on point Dad would direct me up behind them and only then was I allowed to load.Comment

The first on that was mine only was one I bought with my summer job money.
It was a Remington pump 30-06 if I remember right. I bought it when I was 13.
