You could lose 10 pounds by getting a haircut and trimming that beard.

A chocolate shake does sound like a great lunch item today. Followed up with a quick power nap.

That was in May... you should see it now..

I started it late November and haven't shaved or gotten a hair cut since.. and have no plans to any time in the foreseeable future..

Trying to get this across to my wife. Its not about what you eat, but how much, and how active you are.

Just cut out carbs. This will always make a difference.

In some circles this is taboo, but I started doing paleo and I feel and look a lot better than I did on the standard American diet.

The thing is that this isn't about losing or gaining weight. For nearly 40 years I've done pretty well everything THEY say to do to keep the weight off despite a thyroid that doesn't work and physical ailments that preclude my being as active as I once was.

In the words of my mother I don't eat hardly enough to keep a bird alive..

But seriously, I make a huge effort to eat salads, I love leafy greens and other vegetables. I've pretty much quit eating any red meat, fried foods, starches, carbs, sweets and beer years ago and yet I don't feel any better, I don't weigh less, and I don't enjoy food like I used to.
