Its my opinion that you can't change someone's opinion of LE, once their mind is made up like that. That's just me though.

I love the job and after 7 years of it I wouldn't change a thing. Just like any sane individual somethings make ya think. Would I give it up? Nope, well maybe if someone paid me to hunt everyday lol! I've already shook it off just couldn't believe the audacity of that guy.

To bad you couldn't have just shot him and be done with him

Don't let one bad apple spoil the whole bushel.

            THANK YOU for your work!

I have a good friend who just retired as a LEO. One telling statement he made about a month before he retired: "I gotta get outta this before I kill someone." Wise enough to recognize when he was approaching the end of his rope, tired of all the arrests and perps back on the street before his next tour, less than zero respect from those he protected daily, etc, etc, etc. It is a tough job, and I thank those who do it day in, and day out.

I'm at a loss as to where such comments could come out of a logical person.

All I can think is you can't fix stupid and must agree with the above post, should have tased him.

Not sure that fellow is questioning his career choice.. and I'm pretty sure at his age and history another career is probably out of the question..

I guess it's a good thing I'm not a cop. I'd have followed him until I found a reason to stop him, then I'd have written him every ticket I could come up with.

Seems like he was looking for a fight. He'd probably be the first to scream police brutality, if you'd have given him what he was looking for. I applaud your response to his dumbassery!
