Or hook a chain to the bottom and drive off

I found out on here quite a while back that a t-post driver works real good for pulling them out also.

Kinda funny I had the right tool the whole time and for years struggled pulling them out in the same fashion you are trying.

Push post forward a bit, put one end of driver on ground and the other end under one of the t-post notches. Pull t-post towards you, then push forward and put driver under the next notch. Will work itself out in no time and with little effort.

Make your own puller out of scrap steel. If you don't have a welder borrow one or get someone to make a simple copy.

Like everyone else said, a T post puller. They are amazing. But if you don't have time to go buy one here's a good solution: Get a 4 foot or longer heavy metal pole (pump barrel pipe works great) but 5 foot would be better. Bring a chain also. Then you put the pole at the bottom of the T post as close to the ground as possible, then wrap the chain around the pole and the T post. Wrap it good and tight to where the chain will "bite" on one of the knobs on the post. Then get down in a good squatting position, grab the pole with both hands and horse that sum butch outta yonder. Don't hurt your back while doing so, and don't sue me if you do get hurt

The TSC tpost puller is the way to go.. It will eat tposts as fast as you can push down....

I also have the harbor freight one. Its not as well built as the Tractor Supply one but it gets the job done if you are easy with the push down. ....especially in dirt and not rocky terrain.

Its a good tool to have in any deer lease arsenal. We use it all the time, whether it be to move pens, set up pens, rebuild pens or just come across an old pen somebody left and we salvage the tposts for later use. They have both paid for themselves 5 times over.

Tractor Supply Co. is the source for farm supplies, pet and animal feed and supplies, clothing, tools, fencing, and so much more. Buy online and pick up in store is available at most locations. Tractor Supply Co. is your source for the Life Out Here lifestyle!

That's what I'm needing it for. Probably got about a dozen t-posts I need to pull up from an old pen and a dozen or more around the house.

Johnny, I have a better idea. Start a thread about folks on here being too weak to pull them up. Just give directions and point. I bet those posts would be up in no time.

If you don't have a puller then wrap a chain at the bottom then get an old tire rim. Set the rim close to the t-post then hook your chain to your truck and back up, it will pull the post right out.

This is how the 2X4 works, too. Very quick and easy.
