truck, chain, and a 2-3' board or pipe...jerk right out.

use the board as a lever to pull straight up on base of post.

if its in Montgomery cty ill ride over and show you.

Pull them with the driver. Lean post back wedge driver against one of the knobs on the post and pull back to you. Will lift them right out.

I've used a cherry picker/engine hoist to pull things out of the ground that don't need to be there anymore.

Johnny, if you got a 4-wheeler with a winch on the front, you can get right next to the post and wrap you winch cable around it and pull straight up with the winch and they'll pop right out of the ground. The t-post puller from tractor supply is the ticket tho. I have one at the ranch, but that's in Del Rio... probably won't go out there til sept again... but I'd be happy to bring it back and lend it to you if you don't have 'em out by then.

Kinda funny I had the right tool the whole time and for years struggled pulling them out in the same fashion you are trying.

Push post forward a bit, put one end of driver on ground and the other end under one of the t-post notches. Pull t-post towards you, then push forward and put driver under the next notch. Will work itself out in no time and with little effort.
Yep, this is the best way to do it with out spending money if you don't have a tractor.

Hadn't thought of that, will have to remember that for next time.
