      With a T-post driver.

I worked with my grandfather on the fenceline for 6 years (I'm 20, so like 1/3rd of my life) and we never ever ever used any specialty T-post puller. If we couldn't pull it up by hand, then we used a T-post driver (Put the top of the driver, the portion with the cap, on the ground, then hook a notch on the T-post on the mouth of the driver and pull in the direction of the driver. If you bounce it as you pull, it will come easier. Please be careful, sometimes it will slip and you can land on your arse)
In the rare instances we couldn't get it to come up with the driver method (as described above) then we would switch to a bulldozer.
And if the bulldozer didn't work (I've witnessed it happen) we would dig down and cut it off about 12 inches below ground, then bury it.

Also, don't be afraid to bend a T-post. You can straighten them with the tongue of a trailer easily, and they will be just fine to go back into the ground after straightening.

T post puller. Easy and quick. Especially in sandy soil.
        Quicker done than explained.
I built a fence and removed a bunch of old posts this year.

Another vote for the t-post puller from TS.

Walk up, hook up, handle down. That fast to pull most post and walk to the next and next and next...
