Llano tx.. It was like a herd of cattle running to the feeder. We had this place when I was real little 3-5. Then hunted a fam place in bedias when I was 6 and I shot my first deer w my 22-250. And I've been hooked ever since.

Just outside Trinity, Texas at Ellis Prison. We hunted there through the 70's and 80's. I remember the first time my dad took me out there. We went into the mess hall to eat and inmates were everywhere. Scared this kid good because even I knew then Ellis Unit was Death Row...

We've never been able to afford a lease so I see the WMAs/public land as my lease. Hopefully we will be able to get a lease in the next couple years

Moss Hill. Oultlaws on that place were as thick as the mosquitoes.

We hunted a lease outside of Jefferson, back in the late 70's. I can remember entire seasons where I didn't even see a single deer, and hogs were not very numerous either. Hunted there until 85 I think, and we moved to a lease near Forrestburg.

Round Mountain. Me, my brother and my cousin "snuck" up on a jackrabbit and dropped him with 17 shots from our red-ryder BB guns! I may or may not have shot my first dove over a white-rock water trough there too...**** I miss my brother.

Just outside of Huntsville, we had 150 acres with about 4 other families.
