Where was your first deer lease

When you where a young kid growing up.
Mine was on the brazos river bottom in brazoria county behind darington prison. Man those where the days. I remember all the deer and hogs we shot and playing in the mud with the 71 scout. We still have that scout too. Bought it new and now has 71,000 miles on it. The big red three wheeler was a blast too. Fun times,

Place between gause and Milano not big deer until we got off. Remember after the morning hunts me and another would go fish a little neck of a pond that had some bass. First and only time i caught a fish on bare hook. Good times.

Orange County....south Texas about an hour from Corpus...looked like we were going to be hunting in the desert, then all of the sudden it opened up into brush and small mesquites....great lease...I was 14-16 (I'm 41 now)...fell in love with all of it then...

Water Valley in Tom Green co. we would go and stay for a week at a time. Some of my fondest childhood memories were made there with my dad, papaw and uncles. And to this day it was the most game rich place I have ever stepped foot on.

A little place in Bremond Robertson Co. Hardly ever saw deer but childhood memories were made with my dad, grandfather, uncles etc... We would stay in a cab over camper in dad's truck that he would put in his truck at the beginning of deer season and didn't take it off until after.

Never had a lease, family has hunted the same family owned land for a little over 90 years now.
