Just got rid of one in my office.

Cover ALL sources of water inside including toilets at night. The poison makes them thirsty (dehydrates them) and they go outside looking for water and die.

I thought about the bucket trap.

Pictures are not allowed if I want to keep my job.

We had some big outside rats at our office buildings so I put some of this stuff out. Not only did it kill them, I found some of them dead laying right at the little food trough. It is good stuff and cheap too.

At the deer lease the rat posion would dissappear over night and more rats would be there after I returned a few weeks later.

I bought some chicken waterers and put anti-freeze in them. It was cheaper and lasted longer and worked.

When they eat it they have to go to water; so unless they are big enough to drink from the water fountain, or use the water cooler, they have to go outside.....

This one works everytime. Even on the smart ones.

Or you could just get a big trash can. Smooth on the inside, tall enough he can't jump out of. Put it along a wall with a ramp, stick, broom handle going up to the mouth of the trashcan. Put a peanut butter cracker in the bottom of the trash can. They'll jump in after it and wont be able to jump back out. Only downside to this one is the mouse is still alive and you have to do the killing.

If you set either of these types you will catch one the first night.

Put some chocolate laxitave bars out as bait. The rats will dehydrate and die.

This is maybe the best idea I have ever heard.

i thought you were experienced at this?!

You leave a small dish of water right beside the bait and never have to trail them up

Snoopy rod and reel, light line, perch hook with cheese or peanut butter, and a small cowbell on the end of the rod. When you hear the bell ringing, Set the hook, Rat on!,, Reel em in.
