Don't own one. Don't own any firearms. It was just 2 years ago I was allowed go on my first hunt and take my deer (an 8 point), which I had borrowed my wife's uncle's rifle. I always had an appreciation in hunting and fire arms, but me and my dad were poor and living in north Dallas, didn't get time to get out. Since then I have gotten into hunting and firearms.

I've owned 2 and sold both because I just never used them like I thought I would. Got a Tikka T3 22-250 and am much happier with that for a smaller caliber rifle.

I can't imagine why anyone would pick a mini 14 over a quality AR? I can't think of a single reason, or anything a mini 14 is better at than an AR.


One of the problems with AR's is they reproduce like crazy!!

I own one, mostly because my dad felt that I needed to have it, as well a pink camo case to go with it. I do love plinking with it but other than that I haven't hunted it with.. YET. My 45 and 38 work quite well for home defense.

I don't have an AR, but I have a mini 14 which is about as close to an AR as possible. I like the looks and piston driven system better on a mini.

No AR. But there are 5 bows in the household! What can I say, we're bow hunters!
