      You need to reread it. It says flying squirrels and ground squirrels are not game animals. ON page 68 it list grey or cat squirrels and red or fox squirrels as game animals.

          Pg 76 lists flying squirrels and ground squirrels, not typical tree squirrels. The squirrels you're thinking of are listed on pg 68 as game animals.

                I seen a guy get a ticket for waste of a game animal after shooting a squirrel from his deer stand with a .270
