I drank too many whiskey's at the local SCI banquet and went nuts at the auction. Ended up buying a Best of the West Rifle with Huskemaw scope in 300 win mag. I also bought the long range school to go with it. Not sure I will ever hunt with the thing but should be fun to shoot. It is built by Cooper rifles and on a defiance action. I think those are good things. I know Blake and the other rifle guys will comment on my lack of intelligence with this decision but it was a charity donation! Will see how she shoots. Alright, now I am back to bowhunting.

I don't feel that bad, yet! Actually looking forward to shooting it. I rarely shoot rifles but I do enjoy them. Should be a good gun for a west texas aoudad hunt or a nilgai if I get a chance to hunt with my rifle shooting friends.
