Dang was going to Academy in a few min and was thinking of getting me one of these too. Will have to look up the nearest BB&B and go see what they have while I'm out. Planning to smoke a brisket tomorrow.

I looked everywhere around austin with no luck when I was looking. Bbq outfitters has them but you can get one on Amazon allot cheaper. I love mine. I'd love to get a guru with the fan but the price is outrageous.

I went to the BB& B Friday on my way home from work & they had the single probe one, but not the double probe.

I am gonna go the Amazon route.

question... is the 733 model that much better than the 732

I haven't used mine yet. I went to amazon to order the 732. Saw one that was $10 more and was trying to figure out why. Then I read it. Figured it'd be worth a shot to see

I will. I plan on ruining a brisket tomorrow. Looks pretty simple to use.

Well, my brisket attempt got pushed back to this evening. I'm gonna put it on in a bit. I think my wife threw the directions in the trash, so I'm hoping I remember what I read. It seemed user friendly when I was messing with it. It has a bunch of presets for meat. Not sure if the 722 does.

I think I read that is it is heck trying to over ride the presets... if you don't like the preset temp of a certain food... you're up a creek.

If the 733 is having issues with overriding presets you made a good call IMO. I like the screen setup on that 733 from what I've seen in reading up on it, but the 732 is nice as well.

Good luck with it and remember....don't dunk the probes..
