I spent $50 at the doctors last year and $235 on prescriptions, why would I sigh up for health care that cost me $500 a month that I do not have. And then to pay deductibles and prescriptions and office visits, just seems like money thrown away.
Paying the penalty is cheaper than insurance for a year.
I just don't get how this is affordable for me yet!
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the ACA being in insurance but insurance is alot cheaper than the catastrophic medical bills you will never pay when you have a major illness or accident!

If I could afford it still don't know that I would do it.
I don't have $6500 for the deductible, so that alone puts me in way deep so what's another $100,000?
12 months of $500 a month premium equals $6000 and I still would have a deductable so I would be out $12,500 and still have prescription cost which could be who knows how much.
Quack, btw, Im sorry to hear your wife has terminal cancer. I know one woman who just died from it at 52 yrs young and two more who are fighting it now. Prayers up for her and you.

Thank you, They told us maybe 2.5 years at the most, but I serve an awesome God and it is up to him. God Bless, Joe
Yes our base premium is $1014 per month and we get a tax credit of $530 per month leaving us paying $484 per month. Yes again we do have to pay the first $6500 but after that we are 100% paid for the year. With Trina probably going through chemo again this year we and her having another surgery this coming monday we will easly use more than the $6500.
You might want to make sure that you are only out the 6500. All the plans that I have seen illustrated they range from the Bronze plan = 60/40, Silver = 70/30, Gold 80/20 and Platinum = 90/10.

There are all ranges of deductibles. I can write bcbs and put a guy in one today with a $1000 deductible.
Is it safe to enter data into the Obamacare system?
Here in the small state(pop. About 2 million) I live in 38 of the Obamacare navigators are in the FBI crime database.
Among the charges that popped up on the FBI criminal database were eight domestic violence charges, four drug charges, two larceny charges, one petty theft charge, one shoplifting charge and two child abuse charges.
