My wife is on it. Lost 30 lbs in 2 months. My uncle is a MD he just started using it for some patients. You have to fit in certain health parameters to safely do the diet. He also wants monthly blood work to make sure all levels are correct.

Last Friday weigh-in. 197.2 lbs. That was 3.6 lbs last week lost. Total weight loss as of last friday is 46.2 lbs in 8 weeks.

I passed my original goal of 200 lbs. which i thought was impossible. New goal is to get to 185 lbs. hopefully in 3 weeks.

I also had blood work done. All my levels were A+++.

I LOST THE SAME WEIGHT AS A BAG OF CORN. Can you imagine carrying around a bag of corn all day long?

Congrats on the weight loss. The real struggle will be to keep it off. Did a similar diet five years ago and have learned it's important to make a lifestyle change so you don't just put it back on.

Not yet. I have another dr. appt in a month a half. I think if everything is still A++ then I will get off.

I am off my diabetes medicine though.

BTW if you have never given Rutabaga a try you really should. It is suprisengly really good. To me it taste like a seasoned potato. We usually make it into french fry shape or dice it like a breakfast potato. After we cut it we let it sit in some salted water for a little while or a long while. (im not sure if it needs it but wife says to do it so that is what happens). We then strain it and then put some olive oil, pepper, salt, sometimes onions. Mix it up. Put it on a foil lined cookie sheet at 425 for around 30 minutes.
I will have to try Rutabaga and congrats on your weight loss.

Thats great news!! Most people dont understand a person can be skinny on the outside and still fat on the inside were is really matters.

Keep up the good work and remember its those blood panel numbers that really matter not the scale. loosing lbs is just icing on the cake not your goal.

Some people can drop 10 lbs in a week but still cant drop 1 point of LDL in a year to save their life.

I weighed in at 195.2 lbs.
That was 2lbs lost for the week.
I was hoping to lose 3.8 which would have put me at 50lbs total but it didn't happen. I will get it this week.

We just started this so it's good to see someone do it. My wife has already lost 35lbs. Her clinic is introducing it to some of their patients. It doesn't seem that hard

How much cardio are you doing each week?

Do you feel weaker? I started an aggressive calorie countin regimen but after exercise have been trying to net 1200-1500. I couldn't imagine doing much on 1/3 of the calories. All of the research I've done keeps going back to your body attacking your muscle so I was wondering if you notice less strength or energy?
