aiming low is not the best answer guys. they jump the string because they are alerted to something not right and most likely they are looking your direction. We need to work on our patience and wait for that nice broadside shot when they are more at ease so that you can aim at your kill spot. Your best kills will be your best shots made when the deer is clueless that you are there. yeh I know, that means sometimes they just don't give you that chance and you get to let them walk. good luck!

I missed three this year as well, all ducked the string. I've got a buck and a doe so far. I think they are ducking because of the grizz trick noise. Awesome broadheads just noisy. I always hold low but for some reason this year they are really moving when I touch it off. The last deer I shot I got tired of them ducking and actually shot 4 inches below his chest.

Holy friggin moly guys!!! I took the advice yall gave me and tried to apply it today. Long story short I missed the same **** doe twice within 10 mins. Both times at 30 yds both times she ducked the arrow and lived to tell about it. What gives? I have never taken a deer from the ground but it is frustrating as heck. Both times she was head down eating and not alerted at all. This is terrible!

I do feel for you and wonder if missing is worse than no chance at all (my luck this year).
As said, aim low (heart). If you shoot low, clean miss. If they duck, lungs. It's very hard to make yourself do this especially if you've gun hunted previously. Try and keep your shots inside 20-25 yards to dramatically increase your odds.
