Co worker has one, he sharpened all the knives in the station and all of them would cut the corner off a phone book! We even played around and rdsharpened a couple of broad heads. I liked it.
I was looking at one at Cabela's and the idiot that worked there insisted on sharpening my knife to demonstrate and proceeded to round off the edge on my eye brand knife. Not sure if it was the indian or the arrow, but I am not a fan of that sharpener.
I've got one and love it. It does take a little practice to keep from rounding the point. I bought 3 and gave them to my boys. Took and old butter knife and in 10 min had it were it would shave
i have one, works great-not sure i'd use it for broad heads.
Sure seems to me that the belt should have been designed in a 'W" shape so that you sharpened both sides on the blade with the belt traveling downward away from the blade.
I love mine; sharpens everything from a 10" Busse to my high priced sewing shears!
Use an old belt for this: Flip the belt over and cover with polishing rouge; use this to polish your blades after the belt work, makes a big difference! You can use the polishing rouge from Dremmel (I like the red the best) and it can be bought in most big box hardware stores.
