What would you do- Guy walks in Walmart with assult gun

our local walmart does not sell guns anymore first of all.

There was a young looking dude that walked into garden center with a blacked out AR looking gun carrying it like at a 45 degree angle in front of him. Had rails and accessories if it wasnt real sure looked real His left hand on the front and right hand on the handle and finger on the trigger..

I was like WTH..... He walked in and turned and walked straight to the back and through the doors into back of the store- Trip was right through entire store..... It may have been an airsoft gun or something but looked steel and real to me. No orange tips. There was a lady that was an employee that met him about center of store and walked rest of way to the back.

maybe Im paranoid but enough weird people have already shown what can happen. I had my hand on my pistol and followed him all the way to back. They were laughing and cutting up towards end but I said - man thats a good way to get shot as they entered the back of the store....

Sounds like you did about all you could do except once he was out of sight, call 911 and report it clearly explaining that you did not see any violence, but...

well its legal either way. granted he shouldnt have his finger on the trigger but he can def have it. Odds are he was just a young kid that worked there and it was a toy. he certainly should have been a bit more aware of how it can make others feel though

I wouldn't report it as it's legal. But I might bookmark his description in case something did happen.

I wouldn't have followed him, especially if I thought he had ill intentions. Not my job to play hero. I carry to protect myself. Removing myself from possible encounters is my first line of defense

It's prolly a real AR! My twins best friend his Mom works at Wallyworld and says more and more people are walkin in with them with the clip in every day.

Legal or not that's just plain stupid on his part. I would have called the cops right away. No reason to take chances with all that goes on now days.
