How many have actually been to this place and know exactly what goes on there. All you are doing is trying to demean the experience of the OP in this hunt. If you do not agree, then why make a comment about the place when the only thing you know about it is what you see on the website. Does not look like they are trying to hide any info on the site and it is a guaranteed opportunity. I hope he goes and kills a monster and has a blast in doing it!

I would go and be all smiles and not give a rip what everyone else thought.

Sounds like you may have one heck of a taxidermy bill. Sure would look cool on the wall though. I am jealous. Don't care what anyone else says, it would be cool to sling an arrow at one of those big bodied monsters. Good luck and take lots of pictures.

LOL. The OP expressed his own hesitation about the experience, and asked for opinions about it! Good grief.

Would be cool if someone else is paying, but I would rather shoot a low fence 135" deer. Good luck to you sir.

You forgot to bash that kind of place like you normally do.

Mudslinger is spot on. And apparently has about 100 times the class you do.

And save the lawyer response. Its not your style of hunting. We get it!!!

my neighbor goes to Quest Haven Lodge every year (very similar to the place you are going) - He comes home with some awesome video footage, some great memories, pictures, and a HUGE set of antlers to put on his wall every year. I think you will have a great time on this hunt and have the desire to make it an annual trip (if your vendor is so gracious) by the time it is ready to go home.

Our old lease manager has been there and shot two deer. One was around 220" and the other was around 308". He brought his own rifles but I don't know if you have to or not. He did it because he wanted to shoot a deer of a lifetime and luckily he did because he passed away earlier this year. RIP. They also have a drawing every year we enter to win a hunt.

Go for it man. I know a group of guys who go every year. They have a heck of a good time. It's not a difficult hunt but I bet you will still have a blast. Not sure why people get so wrapped up in making the hunt as hard as possible.

The OP did not ask for opinions, he ask if anyone had been there and what to expect. Good Grief read the original posting!
