Look at it this way. It's just another experience on life's highway. The deer are big bodied so lota meat. And you'll get to see and observe big mature white tails, and you'll already have that under your belt when you see that big boy step out back down here in Texas.
I would be proud of a deer shot off of a place like that, but I would feel more since of accomplishment taking a big free ranging deer.
Just like I got more respect for big deer that come out of E Tx than I do for S or W Tx where they are more common and come to corn like wrecker drivers to a accident on I 10.
Go have great time, cause no matter what most of these guys say they would go to.
    Good luck brother.

Does not look like they are trying to hide any info on the site and it is a guaranteed opportunity. I hope he goes and kills a monster and has a blast in doing it!

As repeatedly stated, there's not much anyone can do about it so you might as well relax enjoy it.

I watched several of their youtube videos. You basically drive up in the polaris and get out and walk up to a comfortable range and collect your trophy. I was amazed how many of the hunters made poor shots. No big deal, follow up shots are pretty easy too.

The hunters sure look like they are having fun.
        wow!

I gotta admit, reading this thread has been good for me. I have found myself in the past talking trash too about seeing these giant deer come off a ranch like this. Nothing more than jealousy on my part. Now granted, someone killing one of these brutes and then trying to make claim to being a better hunter than someone else because of it is messed up, but most don't do that. I say go have a great time and fill us in on what it was like when you get back.

I checked a rifle a few weeks ago. All I had to do is sign a piece of paper that states it was unloaded. Had to put the form in the case and lock it back up. I didn't take any ammo, I had that sent ahead of me, but I don't think that is a big deal either. If you go to the TSA's website they have all the info.

                Form your own opinion.

No need to have stands. All deer are shot in a walk up fashion.

I have had fun shooting deer on video games so I'm very confident this is fun. The question is, does this in any way diminish real hunting? It certainly does make that 150 class that you busted your tail for look kinda puny!

What happens if you take a 10 year old out there and let him shoot a 500 class deer in 30 minutes of driving around? Will he/she struggle to want to sit quietly concealed for hours trying to connect on a mature 8 pointer that is 1/4 the score?

Either way, this stuff is here to stay.

If some paid for a legit hf hunt i would go and cant wait to hear back on how this hunt went. But....the video that Leg has attached is so bad. The producer should be fired for his poor choice of actors and film segments

IMO there is a huge difference from a high fence ranch and a 200 acre pen that looks like a park. I hope the OP has a great time and kills a giant.

You are wrong. I have declined and would do the same in OP situation.

Have you ever hunted a high fence ranch? And targeted a specific buck? My record is 37 sits over a 2 year span to get that deer, ranch record is 85 sits.

You had me at breast .......

Go man if you see it and your heart pitter patters ..... Pull the trigger.

What's not been said is the value of the vendor /partner relationship. 12 years ago I was asked to go with a vendor on a night of drinking, if you know me it's not really my cup of tea. I ended up being the DD for a few day summit and got to be decent business level friends with a few of them.

7 years later and I'm contemplating opening my own company and guess who steps up to be my first clients. Had my misplaced morale conundrum gotten in the way of the networking opportunity I'd not have a company today.

Go and don't let anyone tell you you can't or shouldn't.

With you bro. I've hunted quite a few high fences and the deer are as hard if not harder then many low fences ..... but you're not going to win this argument. I've got quite a few hours booked on a deer this year that I've only seen once at about 250 yards.

Easiest hunt I've ever been on ..... Mexico the deer are crazy calm. But I'd hunt them if I had the opportunity!
