Basically it works out that you can shoot 1 trophy WT and 1 Trophy exotic with your allotment. Last year I killed a 10 and a 12 point WT trophy instead of an exotic.
Guests use your points when they shoot something. Family or friends are ok but paid member has to be at the lease if they are.

Yeah we had a Jack-Wagon start bringing his 36 yr old son ,because we said kids were allowed...He was not asked back after that season.
We had a member early on that decided his 25 year old son could come and hunt as a kid. The young man didn't live with him and had a job and regular life.
Another members son hunted as immediate family all the way through his college years.
Our deer numbers are way down this year, I suppose due to the 2011 drought. Therefore we have practically eliminated any guests hunting and shooting deer. We just don't "need" the help with keeping the numbers in check this year.

On ours, each member is allowed 1 buck (we are on antler restrictions). Therefore if your guest kills your buck, you're done buck hunting. If both you and your guest kill a buck, it's penalty time, and you probably won't be invited back next year. This way we strictly manage the number of mature bucks being harvested.

Does it really matter who pulled the trigger?
The main reason we pay to hunt is to shoot a nice deer, at least that is the excuse we tell ourselves!
The members that pay the money should be the ones that have the last say in taking bucks!
Paid members come before guests.

Let's say you have a trophy quality buck on your game cam that is bigger than any deer you have harvest to date but he don't show up when your there but he comes all the time. Let's just say talking to another member and comparing notes...he/she also has the same deer on camera several times. The other member doesn't want to shoot that buck cause they have shot bigger deer in the past. However, they would like there guest to shoot that buck?

Lease price is equal to buying points. You have a base amount that allows you to basically take 2 trophies. Can be 2 exotics, 2 WT or 1 Wt and 1 exotic. Pigs and yotes are free and so are blackbuck does. 100 points for turkeys and does of any species. 1 axis per family as we are trying to grow that heard. We also have approved cull deer that are free and usually shot by the kids.
If you are a trophy hunter it works out great. You get two trophies. If you are a meat hunter, your family and friends can put 10 does in the freezer. Or like most people, you can kill your trophy and fill the freezer and have a great time.
If you shoot a trophy wt and a trophy exotic and mr big walks out, you can take him too - you just just have to pay for a third trophy.

So what would happen to the extra trophy funds?

Just have to make sure the count stays right over the entire season. Wife shoots a buck then two weeks later when that hunter is on the lease by himself really big buck walks out, what happens? He's still got his tags.
