Elk Cow vs Axis Doe

Pretty simple question, which would you let the air out of?

both are excellent . Elk is bigger = more meat . Would be a hard choice if they were standing side by side .

Way more meat on the cow. But I prefer axis on the plate and you get a nice hide out of the deal.

I'd say elk because of the amount of meat, plus it tastes just as good as any other meat out there

Elk because it's a "meat" hunt. Usually those are to obtain as much meat as possible. Axis is a little better tasting meat but they're a little easier to come by. So, unless you're wanting axis meat specifically (which I think you would have said), I'd go for the elk cow.
