San Antonio Processor - Texas Big Game Processing

Has anyone ever heard of them or used them? They are off of Nakoma. Any other processors located in San Antonio you would recommend. I searched some old threads but they were older and I was going to see if there were any new places.

I use Dzuik's in Castroville, Schott's in Helotes, and Granzin's in New Braunfels.

I don't like them or the taxidermy place next door-both expensive and Otteas lost my cousins bobcat a few years ago and didn't seem to care? I use Eddies because he's near my old house but have also used Schotts in Helotes and they did a great job. Eddies is consistent but nothing specials.

The guy running it now is a nice guy, and you will get the meat you drop off. He has done hogs and my elk from last year and is pretty quick. He has done a lot to clean the place up and have it be a bit more professional. Also will store your meat for you in cold storage; which kept me from having to buy another freezer last year.

Pretty sure they didn't-I for sure used them in during the 2011 season and my brother uses them every year and he hasn't mentioned it. I sure hope not...

Used Otteas for deer two years ago. Not unhappy but not jumping up and down either. Next time used Rust in New Braunfels, liked them better.

Eddies is alive and well. Use them as a taxi and processor. Will use them again this year. Penshorns in Marion is good too.

That's good to hear-Terry has done most of my taxidermy work over the years and does a good job and is usually accurate on his time quotes.

I go to Texas big game on nakoma. They are awesome there. Only had a few hogs processed so far, but they cleaned and cut them nicely. Only $45 per hog too.
