      Jessie Palmer..281 north and bulverde road on the east side of 281. Entrance on the northeast side of bulverde road. I've had him process three whitetails and an axis. No complaints and very fair. He does a great job and is fast. My .02

        Eddies is good. Good friends with the owners of the meat market and taxidermy side. Take a few there because I've known them so long and majority go to granzins in NB. Hard to beat their price, quality, and how quick they get it back to you. Most my taxi work is done by double nickel in NB as well. His pricing and quality is second to none.

          Terry is an awesome Taxi. He is done two euros for me. One last year and one the year before. One stop shop. And if you call ahead they will wait for you past closing time. Great people. I get a kick out of the young uns that run around the loading dock "helping" load and unload what comes in.

            Good to hear a review of that place. It's 2 mins from my house. May give them a test hog and see how it goes.

              Good input guys. Thanks for info. I normally take my deer to a guy in Fredericksburg. He only charges $50 to process it into burger and steaks. I may have to try one of the SA processors though.

                  I used to use Rusts game place off of 46 years ago before I started processing my own. They always did a great job.

                      .270...found his business card. "Reflection Taxidermy" (210) 722-8936. He also books exotic hunts at reasonable prices..never have tried that yet. He and his wife are good people from my experience and no complaints on quality of service or processed meat. Is a convenient location for me and that's why I use them..haven't tried any other place. He offers taxidermy services as well

                            270..googled it. Saw complaints related to the name and business but out of Washington and Cali in 2010..don't think that its the same guy unless I missed a post that you saw.

                              Farmers Market in Boerne on Main Street has great sausage (if I have any left over burger from the previous season I take it there and have them do Italian and bratwurst). I use Schotts most, due to proximity (but I know they mix meats for burger). Granzins is great, but NB is too far for me.

                                Farmers smoked meats and slim jim's are GREAT!! Not fond of their salami or jerky. I have them cut raw jerky meat from the hams and make my own jerky. Costs very little to have them do this. They partner with Hudson's in Austin, who make GREAT sausage and summer sausage. Just tell them you want it from Hudson's and they will take care of transporting. At least they used to do it. Havent done it in a while.
