It flooded in hays county so bad last night there's no point in going out until the front comes in. I'm gonna get bashed but I honestly have always hated rain ever since I was a kid and all I wanted to do is play outside but couldnt cause of rain. Left a mark

I won't bash you but I wish west Texas had that problem.

The mark left on me as a child was not being able to fish because the lake dried up.

I dont know whats worse not seeing anything or like me took a shot and missed? Went back for an afternoon hunt and thankfully the same set of does came back but, were crazy spooky so think I am gonna lay out till next weekend. Hopefully they will calm down a little by then.

My Brother and I went to Sam Houston forrest and see Deer Friday evening but Nothing Sat. But I am Happy to be able to Hunt

Didn't see anything but two pigs, between 3 of us. Waaaaay to green at our place. Need a real hard freeze and the deer will come to feed.

Wanted to go out for my last weekend try at a mule deer but work says I need to be here on standby. Being in charge sucks sometimes Only got to hunt one day this year...and I missed a shot at 35 yards!

Got skunked by the cow elk this year as well, spent 8 days afield chasing them all over the mountains with my bow.

Had been wanting to just take off for an evening hunt but its a 4 hr drive to my area. Got to take the wife out on a date last night though and got some home improvement done around the house.


Worst thing is...I never got called by work!
