I did...but only becouse I didn't have anyone else hunting with me to help me with a kill. Let'em all walk. Did get some work done out there though.

No deer for me either but i did see a small 8 and semi decent 10. The 10 presented a shot but no range finder and drew back on the 8 but he got spooked and took off right before he stepped into death. Maybe tomorrow if weather is nice.

Just got back from Lake Georgetown,

This morning had two doe come from behine me at 20 yards. One huffed at me and took off.

The other stayed but could not get a clear shot.

Went back this afternoon and nothing.

Will try again next week in the morning again.

Got lucky as I missed both storms.

We saw 5 does and 2 8pts but no shooters. The rain started hard and shut everything down.

Iam in colorado, and this is the last week end of our season. This was the first day I made it out. Had a small two point at 40 yards, I passed on. Then this evening I had a doe in her bed at 22 yards and just could not do it. I think Iam losing that killer instink. No adrenilin rush of any kind. So I didnt even take the shot.Either sex lic.

We didn't kill anything but donuts this morning! Still too hot down here so they're moving late in the evenings and night.

I didn't even bother. Spent the day tending the smoker. Don't intend to go out tomorrow either. Monday is a different story. Will spend the morning sitting in a tree and hoping for the best. If the best don't happen, I'll have an enjoyable morning sitting in a tree. Won't even mind if it rains a tad. A lot of wind might upset me. The tree gets to swaying and my belly gets unhappy. How come a tree can make me seasick but a ship can't I have no idear. It is what it is.

It flooded in hays county so bad last night there's no point in going out until the front comes in. I'm gonna get bashed but I honestly have always hated rain ever since I was a kid and all I wanted to do is play outside but couldnt cause of rain. Left a mark

I had memories of last year when we really got rained out. Weather guy said it would rain all day and all night. So when the rain hit yesterday, we came on back. Last night and this morning, it wasn't raining at the lease.
